Overcoming Fear with Hypnosis: A Path to Freedom

Fear is often defined as false expectation appearing real. Sounds so simple and yet for so many it can have devastating effects on their lives.  It interferes with their lives.  Fear prevents them from moving forward.  Some are literally afraid to leave the safety of their own homes.  You may have heard the old expression “paralyzed with fear,” for many people this can be very true.

One of the most common reasons that someone sees a hypnotist is to get rid of fears and phobias.  Whether it is public speaking, fear of flying, fear of height, bridges, dogs and so many other fears, or some of the more unusual ones, hypnosis helps and, in most cases removes it completely.  Using hypnosis can get to the reason, the initial sensitizing event that caused the person to feel this fear. In many cases is unknown consciously what caused the fear, and it may be something other than what the person thought it was.  Once the reason is known, the intense emotional reaction to it is thus reduced and released. The reasons can be anything from something as simple as something that was seen on TV or perhaps something that was heard or seen to something traumatic that happened to the person.  The point being that the emotional attachment is released and the person can move forward.
